Stoeltings Landhaus in Wiehl

As a business traveler, I have stayed in a large number of hotels and I don't usually rate them. The Stölting's Landhaus is very special, uniquely homely in its own way and deserves a rating. It has an ancient structure from 1864 and has been family-run since then. This old structure comes to light well renovated in many places. I just want to mention my slightly crooked room door, which impresses with its old wrought iron door fittings and matching door handle. Modern light switch programs in white ceramic design in the form of "old rotary switches" are installed throughout the country house. I don't know where you can still buy something like this today. My room was very tastefully decorated in the Laura Ashley style. The bathroom is completely newly renovated, extremely clean and spacious. I don't understand why some booking platforms only rate this country house with 3 stars. I felt more comfortable here than in many a 4 or 5 star hotel. You can really feel how the experienced owner has learned the hotel business and culinary art from scratch around the globe in well-known large establishments. Because the breakfast is also exceptionally tasty and individually prepared with love. I would just like to mention curry-mango spread, blueberry pancakes, hand-filled tea bags, homemade jams and many organic products ... And again in keeping with the style, a very old Grundig tube radio with the typical green "magic eye" is playing softly in the breakfast room . You will look in vain for the artificial friendliness or housekeeping uniforms of large hotel chains ... There is really nothing to complain about here and if negative reviews appear here, these can only come from competitors or internet bots. If I have to stay in the vicinity again in the future - then again in Stölting's Landhaus!

We really enjoyed the weekend at Stöltings Landhaus. An individual and extensive breakfast was prepared for us and served at the table. The owner is a very attentive host. The historic country house is furnished with a lot of heart and attention to detail. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back again! :-) .

We celebrated our wedding in the Stölting house. Despite the corona, we were able to enjoy a perfect evening in coordination with the hostess. The food, the service, the drinks and the ambience were just great. I can only recommend everyone to enjoy their party there. Thumbs up!

Very nice staff. Good food and reasonable prices. The back room can be used by groups. It is super cozy in the fireplace room. Time flies by in the evenings

Not a real hotel, but rather a B&B, but that doesn't mean it's bad. If you want to have a hotel bar and a wellness area, this is the wrong place. I really liked the personal attention and the really good cuisine. I didn't like the location directly on a busy country road and the very small room window. I would also have liked an armchair in the room. But otherwise I felt very comfortable.

Nice staff, difficult to find in the evenings, because poorly lit and signposted. Not suitable for the disabled because of the very steep, narrow stairs

the 80th birthday party of Ursula Napierski on 31.8.2019 was a complete success in your house. The friendly, attentive and attentive service gave the party a very private and homely atmosphere and we felt well looked after. A restaurant with service that is hard to find today. Very friendly, great food. The food is not over-spiced. You can tell that they cook with a lot of love. The prices are more than reasonable for the food. For "frequent eaters": Supplements can be reordered free of charge. When I ate my meal the waitress came and asked if everything was ok and asked me more about the sauce I had already eaten. Very pleasant. The ambience is very cozy!

I arrived here today and... Family atmosphere, clean rooms, the owner realy involved od my stay. In every week i working on all German country area, but here, first time somebody asked me " what you prefer on breakfast?". Home climate. From me, i recommend this place really

The ballroom was beautifully decorated for the Advent season, the food was delicious and your entire team was very friendly and incredibly attentive.
